Darin Borter - Therapeutic Associates SW Portland Physical Therapy

Darin Borter, PT, DPT

Clinic Director | Physical Therapist

Darin graduated from Oregon State University with a degree in General Science in 1995 and was a starter on the football team. He attended graduate school at Pacific University in Forest Grove, OR, where he earned his Master of Physical Therapy degree with distinction in 2001 and his Doctorate in Physical Therapy with distinction in 2002.

Darin enjoys working with a variety of musculoskeletal conditions of both the spine and extremities in people of all ages. He also enjoys health and fitness. In his leisure, he likes to train, coach his kids, follow sports, and relax with his wife and three children.

Greg Blosser, PT, DPT

Physical Therapist

Greg received his Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from Eastern Mennonite University in 2009. He then went on to earn his Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from Temple University in Philadelphia in 2013. Greg’s approach to physical therapy encompasses strong patient interaction and manual therapy techniques. Greg believes in delivering individualized care in order for patients to meet their goals. He enjoys treating a wide spectrum of conditions and populations.

Greg is always looking to expand his practice approach through evidence-based treatments and continuing education. After working on the East Coast, Greg and his wife decided to make the trek to the West Coast, where they have been enjoying the outdoors and food scene of Portland.

Outside of therapy, Greg enjoys spending time with his wife and dog, a beagle named Luna. He also loves traveling, camping, board games, and playing or talking about any sport, mainly soccer.

Caitlin McKernan, PT, DPT

Physical Therapist

Caitlin graduated from Texas State University in 2014 with a Bachelor’s in Exercise and Sports Science with a pre-physical therapy concentration. After assisting as a physical therapy aide for 9 months, she went on to pursue a Doctorate in Physical therapy from the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston, Texas in 2018. Caitlin enjoys working with a variety of musculoskeletal conditions with a special interest in spinal pain and dysfunction.

Caitlin’s approach to physical therapy encompasses manual therapy interventions paired with functional exercises, addressing movement impairments as a primary approach to recovery. She began training with the Manual Therapy Institute in 2019 to expand her manual therapy skills and further her evidence-based approach to treating musculoskeletal conditions. Caitlin was trained via the LSVT BIG program for patients with Parkinson’s Disease in 2018.

When she is not in the clinic, you can find Caitlin enjoying all of the outdoor activities the PNW has to offer, traveling, cooking, and spending time with her friends and dog, Rigby!

Brandon Little, PT, DPT

Physical Therapist

Brandon received his Bachelors in Health Sciences with a focus in pre-physical therapy in 2012 through Oakland University in Rochester, Michigan. He then completed his Doctorate of Physical Therapy through the University of Pittsburgh in 2015.

Brandon strives to utilize manual therapy and functional exercises to address the root cause of pain and dysfunction for his clients. He began his North American Institute of Orthopaedic Manual Therapy (NAIOMT) training in 2015 and has completed his level 1 certification and is in pursuit of his level 2 certification. This training emphasizes accurate diagnosis and use of evidence based and manual therapy treatments for address musculoskeletal conditions.

When he is not in the clinic Brandon enjoys spending time with his wife and boxer Charlie. He enjoys getting lost in the outdoors, cooking, and cycling.

Erica Smith - Southwest Portland Physical Therapy

Erica Smith

Administrative Supervisor

Erica is a native Oregonian who is fluent in Spanish and currently working on her Associates of applied science to complete her pre nursing degree. She first joined the Therapeutic Associates team in 2011 working in the Central billing office before coming to SW Portland in 2018.

Outside of the clinic, Erica enjoys spending time with husband and 3 children outdoors, Horseback riding, hiking, fishing and training her 3 German Shepherds.
