Ashleigh Young, PT, DPT

Ashleigh is a native Oregonian who grew up in Albany where she participated in competitive sports, youth leadership and National Honor Society.  She moved to New Jersey to attend Rutgers University, where she captained the Scarlet Knights Volleyball team and volunteered for various school programs.  Ashleigh graduated from Rutgers with a Bachelor of Arts in Biology and Psychology.

Ashleigh went on to attend Physical Therapy school at University of the Pacific in Stockton, CA.  She completed the Doctor of Physical Therapy program with honors and moved back to Oregon to begin clinic practice.  Her clinical interests include sports rehabilitation, orthopedics, vestibular and spine care.  She is currently pursuing advanced manual therapy training through the North American Institute of Orthopedic Manual Therapy.  She also has advanced training in The ASTYM System and is a certified provider.

Ashleigh’s treatment approach is to work with her patients to develop an individualized and evidence based treatment plan utilizing various manual therapy techniques, exercises and education.  When Ashleigh is away from the clinic she enjoys coaching volleyball, gardening, spending time with family and staying active in the community.


Evan R. Jones, PT

Physical Therapist

Evan graduated from The University of Iowa School of Physical Therapy in 1977. He began his clinical practice in 1977 with Bob Gifford, PT at Medical Center Physical Therapy in Portland, Oregon. During that period he worked as a staff physical therapist and athletic trainer for the Portland Timbers Soccer Club, a member of the former North American Soccer League. In 1983 he moved to Salem, Oregon and established a key person office for Therapeutic Associates. His interests in physical therapy include manual therapy, sports injury rehabilitation, and general orthopedics.

Outside of the office his interests have included mountaineering, sea kayaking, and cross country skiing. In more recent times he can be found watching his kids playing soccer or swimming.


Chris Stanley, PT, DPT

Physical Therapist

Chris is from Texarkana, Texas and grew up playing soccer, hunting, fishing and participating in Boy Scouts. Chris achieved the rank of Eagle Scout, and in 1993, received his Vigil honor in the Order of the Arrow. Chris completed his Bachelor of Science in Exercise Sport Science in 2000 from Texas State University and completed his Master of Science in Physical Therapy in 2007 from Texas State University. He received his Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from EIM in 2012, and completed his orthopedic residency and certification in manual therapy in 2010.

Chris has a passion for treating orthopedic conditions and particularly enjoys treating headaches, shoulder pain, low back pain, neck pain and surgical recovery. Chris understands the importance of overall wellness and incorporates hydration, nutrition, mental health and sleep when helping people recover from pain and injury. Chris is also a health and fitness coach and enjoys helping people reach their personal health and fitness goals.

Chris’s treatment approach is centered around developing an individualized plan for each of his patients. He understands that each patient has unique needs and goals, and everyone deserves to have a therapist that takes time to listen to their questions and concerns. He understands that recovering from an injury can sometimes be difficult and stressful, and he wants his patients to find value and compassion in their time with him.

In his spare time, Chris enjoys hiking, camping, fly fishing, snowboarding, rock climbing, working out, and spending time with his niece and nephews. He also enjoys painting, playing the guitar and writing.

Phil Jarbath, PT, DPT

Heather Howard, LMT

Licensed Massage Therapist

Heather is an Oregon Board Licensed Massage Therapist with 8 years of experience. She graduated in 2006 from Rogue Community College. She is experienced in many forms of massage therapy, including sports, trigger point, geriatric, reflexology, deep tissue, Swedish and injury such as motor vehicle and workman’s compensation injuries. Heather has a passion for working with patients to help balance their systems, help with pain management and feel better as a whole.

Heather was born in Brindisi, Italy. Both of her parents served in the United States Air Force. She moved around several times growing up until settling down in Oregon. She attended McNary High School where she met her husband and participated in many competitive sports.

In her free time Heather enjoys playing softball, soccer, coaching soccer, hiking, camping, fishing and running. She participates in many races around the community and tries to run at least one a month. She is also a personal trainer. Heather is married with one daughter.
