Scott grew up in Bandon and Reedsport, OR, where he participated in football, basketball and baseball. After high school, he attended Oregon State University where he studied Exercise and Sport Science and became an avid Beavers fan. After graduation from OSU, Scott moved to Spokane, WA to pursue the Doctoral program of Physical Therapy at Eastern Washington University. Scott completed clinical rotations in Washington, Texas and Utah. Scott moved to the Willamette Valley in 2011 to begin clinical practice as a Staff Therapist.
Since that time, he has pursued advanced training in the field of orthopedics. Scott completed a NAIOMT residency program in 2013, became a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) in 2014, and Board Certified Orthopedic Clinical Specialist (OCS) in 2015.
In the spring of 2015, Scott married his wife Jaime, a native to Salem. In his free time, Scott enjoys hiking, woodworking, reading, and spending time with his wife.
