Chris is a native Gorge-ian. Born in Washington in 1983, but close enough to Oregon to call it home too. He grew up in Stevenson Washington and went to Stevenson High school where he was active with band, golf, and photography. He then moved to Spokane to explore PT school but got sidetracked with his “temporary job” with the airlines and spent several years taking advantage of free flights. After some short time spent living in Hawaii and Wyoming, he moved back to Portland and received his Bachelor of Science in Community Health Education.
Chris then attended Mt. Hood Community College where he obtained his Associates of Science in the Physical Therapist Assistant program. Chris utilized his Community Health Education degree to become an instructor in a hospital pre-operative total joint class. He quickly became a credentialled clinical instructor, and truly enjoys educating patients, as well as the next generation of Physical Therapist Assistants. Given his recent hospital experience, Chris enjoys treating patients after surgery, and is well versed in pain physiology. In his free time Chris enjoys spending time with his family, hiking, photography, cooking/baking, and traveling.
