About

Chad is a second-generation Physical Therapist with his first experience in the field beginning while working under his dad starting at a young age. Chad later attended Willamette University, where he received a BA degree in Exercise Science and played offensive line for the Bearcats football team. He then went on to receive his Master of Science in Physical Therapy through UC San Francisco and San Francisco State in 2007. In 2019, he transitioned to the Director of Therapeutic Associates Central Point Physical Therapy.

Chad enjoys treating a variety of orthopedic conditions, including sports injuries/surgeries, total joint replacements, shoulders, and spine related conditions. His treatment strategy is active emphasizing patient education, manual therapy techniques, and exercises/activities to speed return to normal function. He also has a strong background in athletics and he enjoys teaching sport-specific speed and strength training. Chad’s manual therapy background is through the North American Institute of Orthopedic Manual Therapy (NAIOMT) where he continues to pursue their Certified Manual Physical Therapist (CMPT). Other professional interests include being a clinical instructor to Student Physical Therapists and mentoring fellow PT’s.

Outside of work, Chad enjoys spending time with his wonderful wife, Karalee, and three children Noah, Avonlea, and Aurora. Hobbies include coaching his kids in soccer, baseball, and softball; rehabbing his 1970’s home; and when the schedule allows, a little fly fishing.
