Rhett was born and raised in a small, eastern Utah town of Roosevelt where he played football, basketball, and baseball at Union High School. After spending two years in Brazil on full-time service, he completed his undergraduate studies at Utah State University where he earned his bachelor’s degree in Human Movement Science in 2011 while playing baseball. From there he went on to complete his Doctor of Physical Therapy from the University of Utah in Salt Lake City. He is excited to begin his career as a physical therapist in Grants Pass.
Rhett’s clinical interests include treating any orthopedic condition and post-operation patients using manual therapy, one-on-one patient education, and activity specific training. He enjoys creating pitching/throwing programs for youth baseball players as well as treating patients with low back pain.
In his spare time Rhett enjoys spending time with his wife, Jamie, anything in the great outdoors, and playing the sports that he loves. He plans on becoming an Orthopedic Certified Specialist through the American Physical Therapy Association as well as eventually pursuing certification in manual therapy through the North American Institute of Orthopedic Manual Therapy (NAIOMT).
