Emma was born and raised in the small coastal town of Cape Elizabeth, Maine. Growing up, she enjoyed many sports, camping, and spending the summers on Vinalhaven Island. Emma attended the University of Vermont, earning her Bachelor’s in Exercise and Movement Science in 2013 and her Doctorate of Physical Therapy in 2015. She has been a member of the American Physical Therapy Association since 2012. It was Emma’s passion for adventure in the outdoors and love of the coastal small town life that attracted her to Port Angeles and opened the doors to start her career as a physical therapist with Therapeutic Associates, Inc. She has special interest working with patients with sports injuries, spinal dysfunction, neurological conditions, chronic pain, and needing surgical or balance rehabilitation.
Emma is very passionate about working with individuals to establish individualized personal and functional goals. She believes in the powerful effects of activity and exercise to promote healing and improve strength for performing functional activities. Emma takes care to provide continuous education throughout physical therapy.
Outside of the clinic Emma loves to be outside. She has a longstanding passion for surfing and backcountry skiing. She also loves hiking, camping, and running.
