Physical Therapist

Ahmed treats all types of musculoskeletal injuries.  He uses a movement systems approach combined with manual therapy to treat patients of all ages.  His treatment philosophy is to not only heal your injured body part, but to also look at the entire kinetic chain; with the goal of improving function and reducing movement restrictions to help you return to your desired activity level.

  • Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Pomona College.
  • Served as the athletic trainer to the Pomona College soccer and men’s basketball teams.
  • Ahmed has the unique ability to connect with patients from different backgrounds and functional levels.  He enjoys building meaningful relationships with his patient’s and ensures their care is patient- centered.

Ahmed was born in Detroit, Michigan, and grew up playing soccer, basketball, hockey, and baseball.  He has over 20 years of martial arts  experience, and in his free time enjoys playing sports, working out, and cooking food from different cultures.

How to Choose the Right Gym

Living in the northwest, we’re active people. We are fortunate to be surround by mountains, hills, and lakes that leave us with endless sport and recreational activities. But what do we do when we want to be active but it’s grey and rainy in the winter?
