Christina (who goes by Chrissy) is a California native who discovered physical therapy and rehab early in life due to dance injuries. Her love of movement and passion for helping people led her to pursue a career in PT. She attended Dominican University of California for her undergraduate studies, receiving a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in biology with a minor in psychology in 2012. Chrissy went on to receive her Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from the University of Puget Sound in 2016 and found her love for orthopedic and pelvic floor physical therapy early on in PT school. She is also passionate about combining manual therapy techniques with thoughtful therapeutic exercise prescription to best guide each person back to their optimal level of function. Chrissy has received specialized training with the Herman & Wallace Pelvic Rehabilitation Institute for issues such as urinary incontinence, pelvic organ prolapse, and pelvic pain conditions. She is currently pursuing her orthopedic manual therapy certification through The North American Institute of Orthopaedic Manual Therapy (NAIOMT) and has been a member of the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) since 2013. Chrissy enjoys spending time with her significant other and two cats, exploring the Pacific Northwest, and staying active with yoga, dancing, and trail running.
