Clayton received his Doctorate of Physical Therapy from the University of Pittsburgh in 2015. He has a Bachelor’s Degree of Psychology earned closer to home at the University of Washington. While studying at Pittsburgh Clayton was a class representative to the local PPTA chapter.
The main focus of Clayton’s PT philosophy is to help athletes of all levels and ages stay active. Providing manual therapy and the right tweaks to movement patterns can assist anyone from weekend warriors to high level competitors get back to their sport of choice. Specific clinical interests and experiences include general sports/orthopaedics and a 6-month clinical internship at the UPMC concussion/vestibular rehabilitation center.
Outside of the clinic Clayton is a sports enthusiast, both as a fan and competitor; running local 5/10ks, biking, hiking, and he just signed up for his first Marathon. Beyond athletics Clayton is an avid traveler after having studied abroad in Istanbul, Turkey and numerous visits to Europe. His next goal is to visit South America. Any spare time is spent relaxing with family and friends, preferably while cheering on the Huskies!
