Maren Bisson - Therapeutic Associates Madison Park Physical Therapy

Maren Bisson, PT, MPT

Clinic Director | Physical Therapist

Maren received her Master’s of Physical Therapy from the University of Mary, Bismarck, ND in 1998. She has a bachelor’s degree of Biology. During her college career she played four years of basketball and received the University’s Leadership Award. Maren’s clinical interest and experience has been in general orthopaedics. Her experience has given her a keen ability in treating work related injuries, athletic overuse, and assisting patients in dealing with challenges of the aging process. Maren strives to provide a holistic approach in her treatment style.
Maren has completed 30 marathons to date and several triathlons including Ironman races. She enjoys encouraging all ages and levels of ability to reach their wellness and fitness goals.

Katharine Hayner - Therapeutic Associates Madison Park Physical Therapy

Katharine Hayner, PT

Physical Therapist

Katharine was born in Oregon and resides in the Capitol Hill area of Seattle with her husband and two children. She received her Physical Therapy Degree from the University of Washington in 1984 and has been practicing physical therapy with Therapeutic Associates in West Seattle since 1986. She draws from a variety of treatment approaches, extensive continuing education and her many years of experience to provide individualized patient care that is practical and adaptive to any lifestyle. She specializes in general orthopedics and is especially interested in the challenges of the aging process.

Katharine’s love of the outdoors, friends and family dominate her free time. She enjoys cycling, hiking, travel, yoga, cooking and reading.

Rachel Griffith

Rachel Griffith, PT, DPT

Doctor of Physical Therapy

Rachel received her Bachelors of Science in Physiology from the University of Washington, and her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Northern Arizona University in Flagstaff, Arizona. She was involved in many physical therapy activities while in school, including Tango for Parkinson’s and Manual Therapy Club. She is a member of the American Physical Therapy Association.

Rachel’s physical therapy philosophy includes a holistic approach to health and wellness for all patient populations. She aims to utilize the skills she has learned to optimize and advance movement in society. Her goal is to provide high quality, individualized patient care. Her clinical interests are in orthopedic and neurological rehabilitation.

Rachel grew up in the small town of Cashmere, Washington, and it was there that her love of the outdoors began. When she is not working, you can find her hiking, camping, running, cooking, and spending time with family and friends.

John Wehrer - Therapeutic Associates Madison Park Physical Therapy

John Wehrer, PT, DPT

Doctor of Physical Therapy
  • Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist

John received his Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science and Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Eastern Washington University. Throughout his education he worked as a personal trainer and strength and conditioning coach, where he enhanced his prescription of individually-tailored exercise programs. During physical therapy school, he was involved in research, presented a poster at a national conference, and received the Faculty Merit Award.

He is currently a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist through the National Strength and Conditioning Association, and a member of both, the American Physical Therapy Association, and American Academy of Sports Physical Therapy.

John strives to provide a patient experience filled with education, individually-prescribed exercise, and improved self-confidence with movement. His own injury history and personal experience with physical therapy has helped improve his sense of what it really means to be in the patient’s shoes. While he enjoys treating a variety of orthopedic conditions, he takes special interest in treating the injured endurance athlete, individuals following ACL reconstruction, and a variety of shoulder conditions.

In his free time, John enjoys competing in endurance sports, landscape photography, all things outdoors, and watching the Seahawks.
