John Peckenpaugh

John Peckenpaugh

Clinic Director | Physical Therapist

John received his Master’s in Physical Therapy from Chapman University in Orange, California in 1991. He has a bachelor’s degree in Exercise and Sports Science from Western Washington University. John has worked 22 years in the Monroe community providing orthopedic, industrial and sports rehabilitation services. He has served as team trainer for Monroe High School, as well as the Sky Valley Explosion semi-professional basketball team. He is currently pursuing further orthopedic certifications.

John’s clinical interest is working with general orthopedic conditions, specifically the shoulder, knee and spinal injuries. He has extensive experience in treating a variety of orthopedic conditions, and specialized training in Industrial Rehabilitation and sports injuries. John was certified by ErgoScience in 1999 to administer Physical Capacity Evaluations, used to determine an injured worker’s readiness to return to the workforce. He has also worked with local businesses in ergonomic education and injury prevention programs.

Outside of the clinic, John enjoys golf, running, camping, travel and being involved in his children’s sports activities. He enjoys spending time with family and friends.

Wendy Rineman

Physical Therapist

Wendy enjoys treating various spinal conditions and lower extremity injuries. Her primary interests are in manual therapy and sports rehabilitation. She ensures all of her patients are provided with a patient centered treatment plan so they are able to reach their personal goals. Wendy believes that patient education and support is the foundation for understanding how to overcome an injury and return to an active lifestyle.

  • Graduated from A.T. Still University in 2010 with a Doctor of Physical Therapy
  • Graduated from the University of Oregon in 2005 with a Bachelor’s in Science in Human Physiology
  • Advanced certification in Orthopedic Manual Physical Therapy through NAIOMT

Wendy grew up in Southern Oregon playing softball, wakeboarding and enjoying the outdoors. She feels her personal experience with sports-related injuries provides her greater guidance for her patients during the rehabilitation process. Wendy enjoys spending time outdoors with her wife Robin and their dog Wiley in her free time.

Lee Welton

Physical Therapist Assistant

Lee is a 2014 graduate from Pima Medical Institute in Seattle where he earned his degree to become a Physical Therapist Assistant. He has always had passion for health and fitness and found his calling with physical therapy where he combines his enthusiasm and compassion to assist his patients in reaching their goals. His clinical interest is working with general orthopedic conditions such as feet, knees, hips, and shoulders.

Lee has volunteered at various organizations including the VA Puget Sound Health Care System, Southern Arizona Veterans Health Care System, Seattle Slam Wheelchair Rugby team, Little Bit Therapeutic Riding Center, and Jackson Hole Therapeutic Riding Association. He has also spent time as a volunteer fire fighter in Skyway, WA and Jackson Hole, WY.

When not at the clinic, Lee enjoys his time doing anything outdoors and is an avid hiker, backpacker, fly fisher, and cyclist. He also enjoys spending time with his friends and family.
