John Peckenpaugh

John Peckenpaugh, PT, MPT

Clinic Director | Physical Therapist

John received his Master’s in Physical Therapy from Chapman University in Orange, California in 1991. He has a bachelor’s degree in Exercise and Sports Science from Western Washington University. John has worked 22 years in the Monroe community providing orthopedic, industrial and sports rehabilitation services. He has served as team trainer for Monroe High School, as well as the Sky Valley Explosion semi-professional basketball team. He is currently pursuing further orthopedic certifications.

John’s clinical interest is working with general orthopedic conditions, specifically the shoulder, knee and spinal injuries. He has extensive experience in treating a variety of orthopedic conditions, and specialized training in Industrial Rehabilitation and sports injuries. John was certified by ErgoScience in 1999 to administer Physical Capacity Evaluations, used to determine an injured worker’s readiness to return to the workforce. He has also worked with local businesses in ergonomic education and injury prevention programs.

Outside of the clinic, John enjoys golf, running, camping, travel and being involved in his children’s sports activities. He enjoys spending time with family and friends.

Blake Carney

Blake Carney, PT, DPT

Physical Therapist

Blake graduated with his Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science from California Lutheran University and Doctor of Physical Therapy from Washington University in St. Louis School of Medicine in St. Louis, Missouri. Blake’s lifestyle is built around health and fitness; he is an avid cyclist, hiker, camper; he loves good food and spending free time with friends and family in the outdoors. He is originally from Southern California, and grew up racing bicycles, eventually racing professional mountain bikes internationally for eight years. Blake has over five years of experience prior to the start of his PT career as a cycling coach and fitness instructor.

Blake has experience treating patients with a variety of musculoskeletal diagnoses, including post-surgical conditions, industrial injuries and chronic pain. He is a continual learner, seeking opportunities to further his physical therapy training and to continually advance the way his patients can optimize their movement and function. Blake is passionate about providing outpatient orthopedic rehab to the Monroe community and surrounding areas.

Bianca McGrath

Bianca McGrath, PTA

Physical Therapist Assistant

Bianca graduated from EVCC in 2013 with Associate’s in Arts and Science. After working several years at sports outpatient physical therapy clinics as an exercise specialist, she decided to follow her dream and pursue PTA school. Bianca graduated from PIMA Medical Institute with an Associate’s in Occupational Science and became a Licensed Physical Therapist Assistant in April 2017.

Bianca specializes in techniques preparing patients to return to prior level of activity as well as focusing on injury prevention and awareness. She is a trained professional in FMS Screenings. Bianca enjoys using techniques such as kinesiology taping, cupping, IASTM (Instrument Assisted Soft Tissue Mobilization) , balance/proprioception training, efficient movement patterns, and manual/mobilization techniques; including muscle energy techniques, and mobilization with movement.

Bianca has always been involved in sports and was an All-State Basketball athlete earning several First Round All League Awards. Bianca is passionate about sports, movement, and rehabilitation. In her free time she enjoys snowboarding, crossfit, hiking, and spending time with her husband, german shepherd, and baby girl on the way!
