Era began her physical therapy education at the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga where she received her Bachelor of Science degree in Exercise Science. While pursuing her educational interests, Era simultaneously performed and taught as a professional ballet dancer and instructor with Chattanooga Ballet. In 2014, she moved to New York City to attend Columbia University where she earned her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree and continued to combine her interests in both physical therapy and dance. Era enjoys working with all patient populations, with a clinical focus on orthopedics and dance medicine. Her goal is to help patients return to all desired activities through the use of a comprehensive physical therapy plan that utilizes manual therapy and exercise prescription.
In her free time, Era enjoys taking dance classes, hiking, reading, and exploring Seattle with her husband Trey.
