Steve graduated with his Master of Science in Physical Therapy from the University of Southern California in 1977. His clinical rotations included attending the Kaiser Vallejo Rehab Program with Margaret Knott and Greg Johnson for intense instruction in Proprioceptive Neuromuscular Facilitation. In 1979 he founded Evergreen Physical Therapy in the Spokane Valley and in 2001 opened Therapeutic Associates Liberty Lake Physical Therapy where he currently serves as Clinic Director.

Steve became a Board Certified Orthopaedic Clinical Specialist in 1986 and a Fellow of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Manual Physical Therapists in 1998. Steve is available for supervised clinical residency and mentorship, and he serves as a faculty member for the North American Institute of Orthopaedic Manual Physical Therapy and as an adjunct faculty member for Eastern Washington University’s Physical Therapy program.

Steve is an active member of the American Physical Therapy Association and the Physical Therapy Association of Washington, with whom he has been awarded Physical Therapist of the Year (2009) and the Award for Clinical Excellence (2011). He is also the team physical therapist for the Freeman High School Lady Scotties basketball team as well as the Freeman High School Track team.

Outside the clinic you can find him hiking, running, swimming, running, and spending time with his family.
