Sean graduated with a Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Eastern Washington University in 2015 and received the Department of Physical Therapy Faculty Merit Award. As a research assistant he worked on ergonomics and injury prevention. During his undergraduate studies, he attended Boise State University and graduated Summa Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science in 2012.
Sean has continued his post graduate advanced training in manual therapy with the North American Institute of Orthopaedic Manual Therapy (NAIOMT). He attained his Certificate in Aquatic Physical Therapy Clinical Competency (CAPTCC) through the American Physical Therapy Association and is certified in Selective Functional Movement Assessment (SFMA). Accordingly, Sean emphasizes functional movement and activity-specific training, which he compliments with hands-on manual therapy. His clinical interests include gait/posture analysis, chronic pain and sleep, sports injuries, orthopedic conditions, spine rehabilitation, and utilizing technology to facilitate/complement the rehabilitation process.
Sean was raised in Post Falls, ID and thoroughly enjoys what the Inland Northwest has to offer. Outside the clinic, you can find him on the bench as the Freeman High School Lady Scotties basketball team physical therapist, spending time in his garden, rock climbing, mountain biking, playing tennis or racquetball, and running with his dogs.
“It is my philosophy that when an individual walks through the clinic door, they receive my utmost dedication and guidance in reaching their goals by facilitating a sense of self-efficacy and through the use of manual therapy, evidence based practice, and education.”
