Liz received her Doctorate of Physical Therapy degree (DPT) from A.T. Stills University in August 2012. Prior to pursuing her Physical Therapy degree, she completed her B.A. in Communications (2001) and her M.A. in Athletic Administration (2006) while working in the Gonzaga University Athletic Department. She also works with student athletes as part of the Sports Medicine Team at Gonzaga University.
Her interest in manual therapy led to her to complete her Orthopedic Residency in 2014, and she is working toward finishing Level III training in the North American Institute of Orthopedic Manual Therapy (NAIOMT). She is also certified in ASTYM (for stimulation of soft tissue), and continues to pursue Fascial Distortion education through the American FDM Association (AFDMA). Her experience with athletes has led her to pursue further education in the Functional Movement Systems (FMS) and she has Level II certification with FMS, SFMA and Y Balance. She enjoys working individually with patients of all ages and activity levels to return them to their personal goals.
In her free time, she enjoys cycling, hiking, backpacking, rock climbing and supporting the local sports teams.
