Ryne graduated from Loyola Marymount University in Los Angeles with his BS in Natural Science in 2012 and from Creighton University with his Doctorate of Physical Therapy in 2015. At Creighton, his clinical experiences included outpatient neurologic at OHSU, pediatric special education at Arizona Centers for Comprehensive Education and Life Skills and pediatric home health in Santiago de los Calbelleros, DR. Ryne spent 3 years at our clinic in Southwest Portland before becoming Clinic Director in Hazel Dell in September 2019.
As a clinician, Ryne believes heavily in treating the whole person. He strives to make the rehabilitation process fun and exciting. He believes maintaining a positive outlook improves the physical, mental and emotional components involved with an injury. In treatments, Ryne follows an evidence-based approach utilizing manual therapy skills acquired throughout his career to augment therapeutic activities and exercises geared towards improving function and performance.
Outside the clinic, Ryne is a native of Vancouver and a graduate of Jesuit High School where he participated in soccer, basketball and lacrosse. Ryne is very active in endurance events including triathlons, half marathons and marathons having participated in the 2016 and 2017 Age Group Triathlon National Championships and as a member of Team USA at 2018 ITU World Triathlon Grand Final in Gold Coast, Australia where he placed in the top 50. Ryne is also passionate about critically acclaimed film and television.
