Chris received her Bachelor of Science Degree in Physical Therapy from the University of Washington in 2000. Prior to that, she received a Bachelor of Arts in Biology from Central Washington University in 1997. Chris returned to the Tri Cities and joined the Richland Physical Therapy staff in 2000.

Chris has continued her education and skill development with the North American Institute of Orthopaedic Manual Therapy and was certified by the APTA as Orthopaedic Clinical Specialist in 2008.

Chris grew up in the Tri Cities and is a Hanford High alumna. She enjoys the outdoor sports and activities that this area is known for, including biking, horseback riding, hiking and boating with family and friends.

Layton Bird - Richland Physical Therapy

Layton Bird, PT, DPT

Physical Therapist

Layton received his Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from Idaho State University. In 2013, he graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Brigham Young University Idaho. Layton is committed to furthering his skill set by completing additional education from the North American Institute of Orthopaedic Manual Therapy. His professional interests tend towards orthopaedic and neuromuscular rehabilitation; however, he has broad interests and enjoys learning across a variety of subjects. Layton is bilingual, and has the ability to work with patients that speak Spanish.

Layton is a native of Washington, born in Bremerton and raised in the Tri-Cities, and is a Hanford High alumnus. He enjoys spending time with his wife and four small children, as well as being physically active through running, cycling, obstacle course racing, and hiking.
