Teresa Maison

Teresa Maison, PTA

Physical Therapist Assistant

Teresa has spent most of her 28 years in an outpatient clinical setting treating orthopedic issues such as pre- and postsurgical patients, work injuries and sports sprains and strains. She lived in Seattle for eight years, spending four of those years working at a facility that was contracted with a local gymnastics club and a swim club with ages ranging from seven years old to 16 years old. Teresa moved back to Yakima in 2008 and spent four years working at Yakima Regional Hospital in all aspects of physical therapy; outpatient, acute care and ICU. While there she treated post op cardiac and thoracic surgeries, post-stroke rehabilitation, postsurgical patients that weren’t quite ready to go home, and some patients with traumatic brain injury. After working at Regional Hospital, she returned to her true love orthopedic outpatient therapy. She has worked with Therapeutic Associates West Valley and Selah Physical Therapy since 2013 and enjoys the challenge of such a wide variety of diagnoses.

As a Yakima native, Teresa and her husband enjoy kayaking, hiking, taking the RV wherever they can, spending time with family and quiet time in the garden.
