At Therapeutic Associates Physical Therapy, the health and safety of our patients and our employees is always our top priority.

In response to COVID-19, we want to reinforce that we take the health and safety of our patients, employees and communities seriously. We are taking extra precautions in our locations and follow CDC, state and local health authority guidelines to protect the health and safety of our patients, staff and community. We are also working alongside our hospital and medical provider partners to provide the best care and communication possible during this time. 

What you should know:

Successful completion of your plan of care is important to becoming a healthier and stronger you. Therapeutic Associates’ clinics are open and continue to serve our patients and communities. For the safety of other patients and our team members, you will be asked to reschedule your appointment if you:

Therapeutic Associates has instituted elevated protocols and procedures at all locations to ensure preventative measures are taken to provide a safe environment for our patients and community members to access physical therapy. All staff have been educated in these measures:

If you feel sick:

The safety of staff and patients is our highest priority. COVID-19 is a virus that is believed to spread in similar ways as the common cold or flu, such as when an infected person coughs or sneezes. Symptoms include fever, cough and difficulty breathing. If you are a current patient and are experiencing any of these symptoms, we ask that you contact your clinic by PHONE and reschedule your appointment.

The CDC has the most current information about the virus, including everything you need to know about how the virus spreads, how it’s treated, how to protect yourself, and what to do if you get sick. Stay on top of the latest by visiting the CDC website, which is being updated frequently. You can also learn how your state’s department of public health is responding to the situation by visiting the website for the state where you live:

Frequently Asked Questions

We are screening all patients according to guidance from the CDC and our local health department for respiratory symptoms and recent travel when they arrive at their appointment. Patients who exhibit the criteria will be asked to reschedule over the phone once they are no longer exhibiting symptoms. 

We always have patient safety in mind and disinfect all surfaces on a regular basis, regardless of the coronavirus outbreak. All our staff washes their hands with soap and water regularly between treating patients. Our staff may wear gloves during specific procedures. We are taking all cleaning and hygiene precautions recommended by the CDC. 

If you are experiencing any sickness, please wait to schedule an appointment until you are fever-free, without the use of fever reducing medication or other symptom reducing medication, for 24 hours. If you have fever or respiratory symptoms such as cough or shortness of breath and have either traveled internationally in the past 14 days or had close contact with someone who’s suspected or confirmed to have coronavirus, please call your primary healthcare provider prior to attending an appointment. 

If you have traveled to a country on the CDC’s list of restrictions on entry to the United States, please wait until 14 days after you return to schedule an appointment.
