UPDATE ON ELECTIVE AND NON-URGENT PROCEDURES

On May 1st, Governor Little issued the state-wide Stay Healthy Order as part of stage one of Idaho Rebounds: Our Path to Prosperity, a staged plan for re-opening the state’s economy. With this, hospitals have begun to look at slowly increasing elective and non-urgent surgeries. We realize that many people, including some of our patients, have had to postpone procedures. With procedures once again being scheduled, there are actions patients can take as they begin to consider rehabilitation needs.

PRE- & POST-OPERATIVE SERVICES

If you have had to postpone a procedure, we want to assure you our clinicians are here to help with your pre- and post-operative needs. Studies show that just one or two pre-operative visits with a physical therapist often leads to a quicker recovery after surgery. Our PTs specialize in maintaining movement and strength and managing pain before and after surgery.

Do you or someone you know have a scheduled procedure soon?

Actions you can take now:

  • Call our clinic to discuss options and schedule your visits to ensure you get the days and times that work best with you.

telehealth - smallTELEHEALTH SERVICES

As the state enters stage one of Idaho Rebounds: Our Path to Prosperity, and the stay-at-home order gradually lifts in the future, we want to ensure our patients and community members feel safe as they access our services during this transition. We will continue offering telehealth appointments for anyone who prefers to remain at home for safety. Most insurance companies have granted the extension of telehealth services as a covered benefit for their members.

Do you have questions about your telehealth insurance coverage or want to schedule a telehealth visit? Please call our clinic or use the following link to request a visit.

EXERCISE EQUIPMENT AND SUPPLIES

With the continued closure of gyms and fitness clubs, many people are converting spaces in their homes to fitness areas and may benefit from adding equipment or supplies. While retail stores in town remain closed and Amazon and other online retailers have a limited supply and are delaying shipping on items that are deemed non-essential, our clinic may carry products that could assist you in your home fitness routine.

Some of the items we often carry include:

  • Exercise Balls
  • Resistance Bands
  • Foam Rollers
  • BioFreeze

If our clinic doesn’t have what you are looking for in stock, there is a good chance that our vendor does and can deliver it to us within 3-5 business days.

Please call the clinic if you are looking for exercise equipment or supplies to support your home fitness program.
