Supporting the Central Oregon Lifestyle with Physical Therapy in Sisters Since 1993

Bend and Central Oregon horizon

Therapeutic Associates

In 1952 in Southern California, Therapeutic Associates Physical Therapy opened its first clinic doors. In the 70 years since then, we’ve grown to include clinics throughout Oregon, Washington, Idaho while maintaining our footprint in California as well.

This year has many of our clinics celebrating major milestone anniversaries, while the entire company celebrated our rich past as we marked our 70-year milestone anniversary last year,

Therapeutic Associates takes pride in being the go-to physical therapy resource for all of our patients and communities in partnership with employees, referring providers and local organizations.

At Therapeutic Associates Sisters, the team is dedicated to meeting individual needs and helping every patient get back to all the activities and adventures Central Oregon has to offer.

Here, in his own words, clinic director Matt Kirchoff reflects on his time with Therapeutic Associates Physical Therapy at the Sisters Athletic Club and considers its promising future as the staff celebrates 30 years in business.

What is one particularly memorable highlight from your clinic’s history?

“I have been the director of Therapeutic Associates at Sisters Athletic Club since 2012 and my most memorable highlight is all of the PT students that we have hosted for clinical internships over the past 10 years. I really enjoy being a clinical instructor and sharing my passion for physical therapy with the future leaders of our profession.  All of our current professional staff (myself included) previously completed internships at TAI Central Oregon clinics.”

What is a goal you have for your clinic?

“My goal over the next 5 years is for our clinic to be seen as the premier provider of physical therapy and wellness services in Sisters.

I hope to further strengthen our partnership with Sisters Athletic Club and leverage this relationship in order to promote the growth of our specialty services.

Our clinic has seen a lot of growth over the past 6 months, and I am very excited to see what the next 5 years have in store.”
