Alex Wirta

Physical Therapist

Alex enjoys serving the needs of the local community whether it is recovering from an injury or working on treatment plans to reduce chronic pain. He emphasizes treatment that has the greatest long-term benefit and appreciates his role as an educator to his patients. His objective is to understand the goals and get to know the people he works with so that they can fulfill their potential.

He received his Doctor of Physical Therapy from Washington University in St. Louis and is a board certified Orthopedic Clinical Specialist. He also holds a Certified Manual Physical Therapist certification from the North American Institute of Manual Therapy and is ASTYM certified. He looks to blend a combination of manual therapy and exercise depending on patient presentation.

As a former collegiate baseball player, baseball has always been a primary interest for Alex. He is inspired to reduce the number of arm injuries in youth baseball and softball players and focuses on prevention.

Alex lives in the Kirkland area with his wife and dog, Peyto. He can be found on the weekends hiking mountains, going on runs, or other outdoor activities.
