Originally from Texas, Alina completed her BS in Exercise Science at Brigham Young University in 2005 and Doctor of Physical Therapy degree at Texas Woman’s University in 2010. She started her physical therapy career working at a large level 1 trauma hospital in Houston, TX which provided opportunities to treat a diverse patient population with various mobility impairments (orthopedic, neurologic, post-surgical, etc). She has experience treating wound care patients and has pursued some education in aquatic exercise as well.
She moved to the Portland metro area with her husband (a pacific northwest native) in 2013. After having 3 children of her own, she developed an interest in pelvic floor physical therapy. She is especially passionate about supporting women’s health and wellness during the transformative, challenging, and wonderful childbearing years.
Alina enjoys adventuring with her family and has various interests in music, cooking, and crafting. She enjoys staying active and loves swimming, yoga, and Zumba.
