Amanda Porter received her Bachelors of Science with a minor in Psychology from Boise State University. She then went on to Carrington College for her Physical Therapy Assistant license. While at Boise State she started the women’s ultimate frisbee team, and now plays for a traveling ultimate frisbee club team.
Amanda works closely with the Physical Therapists to treat patients as an extension of the therapist they see. She has been certified through Rock Tape as a Functional Movement Specialist and is IASTM certified with Rock Blades. With her interest in helping female athletes, Amanda has gone through pelvic health training for high intensity athletes. She would like to continue to work with female athletes in the Treasure Valley to help them achieve their goals and return to sport.
Amanda spends her free time hiking, rock-climbing, playing ultimate frisbee, and going on adventures with her dog.
