About

Amy is the founding director of Therapeutic Associates Scholls Physical Therapy, where she proudly offers expert physical therapy in Beaverton, Tigard, Southwest Portland and other local areas. An Oregon native – born and raised in Portland – Amy graduated from Lincoln High School and then went on to earn her bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology from Occidental College in Los Angeles, where she was an NCAA DIII softball player, team captain, and all-league honoree. From there, Amy completed her Doctorate of Physical Therapy at Western University of Health Sciences in 2009.

Since returning to the Pacific Northwest, Amy has built her career helping patients of all ages recover from injuries, reduce pain, and restore function. She joined Therapeutic Associates in 2009 and, in 2012, launched the Scholls clinic, where she has been the Director ever since.

In addition to general orthopedic physical therapy, Amy has advanced training and a specialty focus in treating jaw pain, headaches, temporomandibular disorders (TMD), and orofacial pain. She is passionate about providing personalized, evidence-based care to help each patient achieve their goals and get back to the activities they love.

Amy lives in Beaverton with her husband, two sons, and family dog. When she’s not in the clinic, she enjoys gardening, hiking, kayaking, camping, coaching baseball, and exploring the outdoors of the Pacific Northwest with her active family.
