Amy is a physical therapist and the Director of Clinical Practice at Therapeutic Associates. Drawing on her experience as both a former clinic director and clinic mentor, Amy brings together operational insight and clinical expertise to support high-quality, sustainable care delivery. She partners with the Integrated Operations team, providing a clinical lens and expertise in quality, education, and professional development to improve workflows, systems, and care delivery. She collaborates across the organization, including Professional Development, Education, and Quality and Compliance teams, to evaluate operational and clinical outcomes and address complex performance challenges from a systems-level perspective.
Amy is fellowship trained and has spent more than a decade mentoring physical therapists, residents, fellows, and clinic leaders. She supports professional development and education programs that enhance clinician growth and organizational performance and teaches mentorship and clinical leadership courses for physical therapists and clinic leaders. She also oversees the enhancement of student placements and clinical instructor support, helping students be fully integrated into the learning environment while supporting instructor development and strengthening TAI’s culture of learning.
Using qualitative and quantitative research, Amy explores questions about clinical practice, patient outcomes, provider performance, and system-level workflows. She applies a structured, research-informed lens to understand which practice patterns, provider characteristics, and operational approaches drive high-quality, efficient, and sustainable care, translating insights into actionable strategies.
She also teaches continuing education nationally through the North American Institute of Manual Therapy (NAIOMT), supporting advanced clinical reasoning and manual therapy skill development. At the core of her work, Amy is committed to creating sustainable environments where clinicians thrive, grow, and find joy in providing excellent care.
