Ania is a middle-distance runner and an aspiring physical therapist with a passion for helping others find joy in healthy movement. Originally from Poland, she moved to Portland to compete for Portland State University’s track and field team. She has been running since the 5th grade and, through years of training and multiple injuries, spent a lot of time in physical therapy. Each visit sparked her curiosity and deepened her passion for movement, recovery, and performance and the importance of having a trusted team helping one get better. Having worked with numerous physical therapists and personal coaches, Ania applies the experience she has gained to help others move better and feel their best. She is currently pursuing a degree in Applied Health and Fitness at PSU and will graduate in the spring of 2025. After graduation, she plans to apply to physical therapy school to further her expertise in rehabilitation and athletic performance.
Ania thrives in nature and finds it difficult to sit still for long periods. She had competed in a variety of sports like dancing, skiing, volleyball or cycling. Now, when she’s not running or walking around Portland, she’s on a mission to try every Thai restaurant in the city or studying in local coffee shops. She also enjoys arts and crafts—you can spot wearing her own crocheted pieces—and has a love for travel, always looking for new places to explore.
