Blakely is an Oregon native, pursuing her growing passions for physical therapy by working as an aide, primarily in TAI’s Newberg and Gresham clinics! She became aware and inspired to pursue this career when she hurt her arm as a young adult and realized that physical therapy was actually a job! She felt called in that moment to the active healing atmosphere of the clinic that felt so much livelier and personal than hospitals and other healthcare locations. She wishes to become a P.T. to help people get back on their feet physically, so they can return to doing what they love and continue to thrive in life! She is currently working on obtaining a Biology and Biochemistry degree at George Fox University in Newberg to work towards this dream.
On her own time, she loves cramming as much as possible into her days, including: reading, writing, hiking, dancing, theatre, video games, pinball, learning random skills, and being outside in the Oregon weather, rain or shine.
