Channary moved to the Pacific Northwest 7 years ago to escape the scorching hot California sun. She is currently attending Oregon State University in pursuit of a degree in Healthcare Management with hopes of completing a Master’s degree in the future. She has worked in the healthcare industry for 6 years, including volunteer work at OHSU in the ICU and Abdominal Transplant Unit, then moving on to work at an OB/GYN office for 5 years. She has now found a home in our Forest Grove location. She has a passion for administrative work and loves to improve the quality of care for patients by improving access and breaking down barriers within healthcare. She appreciates the evolving relationships that develop with working among patients and staff.
When she is not working, you can catch her snuggling up in bed with a good book or 4. She also enjoys spending time with her husband and dog either hiking, eating, decorating, or trying new activities. A fun fact about Channary is that her name means “Moon Face” or “Moon Girl” in Khmer.
