As a military dependent, Christy was fortunate to grow up living all over the country, including places like Virginia, Tennessee, and California, as well as living overseas in Germany. This unique experience influenced her in many ways, including her desire to travel early in her professional career. Happily trading in the nomadic lifestyle for family, Christy has called Oregon home now for 14 years.
She graduated with a BS in Physical Therapy from the University of Tennessee. She then pursued and has maintained her Orthopedic Certified Specialist designation while working alongside the renowned Steadman Clinic physicians in Vail, Colorado and at OHSU in Portland, OR. She has extensive experience with shoulder, hip, and knee, and spine issues. Christy enjoys collaborating with her patients to achieve their individual goals, utilizing a personalized treatment plan that may include manual and exercise therapies, including Maitland, Graston, and Pilates and strength training techniques.
When not at work, she enjoys spending time with her family hiking, skiing, singing, and…traveling!
