Claire completed her Doctorate of Physical Therapy at Boston University and her undergraduate degree in Exercise and Sport Science at Oregon State University. Claire worked as an aide for Therapeutic Associates in Eugene prior to going to PT school and knew she wanted to come back to Therapeutic Associates when she finished her degree because of the company’s mission and values of patient-centered care.
While she enjoys working with a variety of patients, she especially loves to use her background in dance and theater to help dancers from the area recover from injuries, learn about injury prevention, and increase confidence in their bodies. With experience in running a dance studio as well as dancing professionally, she has additional insight into the demands on dancers at the recreational, pre-professional, and professional levels.
Claire is also working to continue increasing her knowledge and expertise around pain neuroscience to help patients understand their pain and treat patients with a holistic approach.
Outside of work, Claire is a big fan of Broadway theater, playing with her two cats, hiking, and spending time with family. You can find Claire and her husband trying out different food trucks across Portland, visiting the zoo, and enjoying the cafes in their neighborhood.
