Cliff grew up in the Seattle area and received his undergraduate degree in Zoology from the University of Washington in 1994. He spent the first 20 years of his professional career in the internet industry as an application developer and software engineer. He relocated to Spokane in 2014 to attend the Physical Therapy Program at Eastern Washington University and graduated with his Doctor of Physical Therapy degree in June of 2017. His post-doctoral education has focused on training with Diane Lee in the Integrated Systems Model (ISM) and working toward his Certified Manual Physical Therapist (CMPT) certification with the North American Institute of Orthopaedic Manual Therapy (NAIOMT). He’s very passionate about treating orthopedic conditions and has extensive experience in working with post-operative conditions, work-related injuries, and return to sport conditions. He believes in a combined approach to physical therapy that includes manual therapy and functional exercise to help patients recover and get back to enjoying their lives.
When not providing physical therapy he enjoys spending time with his family, traveling, being outdoors, and playing the guitar and drums.
