Crystal grew up in the small town of Hubbard, Oregon. Watching several family members navigate musculoskeletal conditions sparked her interest in healthcare and a desire to better understand how she could help them. She moved to Northern California to attend Pacific Union College, where she graduated summa cum laude with a bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science. Crystal then continued her education in Southern California at Loma Linda University, earning her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree. Driven by a strong connection to her roots, Crystal returned to Oregon to give back to the community that helped shape her.
During physical therapy school, Crystal had the opportunity to work with a diverse patient population ranging in age from 3 to 90, spanning a wide variety of conditions. Regardless of age or diagnosis, she consistently saw the meaningful impact physical therapy could have on quality of life.
These experiences drew her to the orthopedic setting, where she knew she could continue working with patients of all ages while treating a broad range of musculoskeletal conditions. While orthopedics holds a special significance for her, pediatrics continues to have a special place in her heart.
Outside of work, Crystal enjoys spending time with her family—whether that’s visiting local viewpoints and parks, going on walks, or discovering new food spots and coffee shops.
