About

Dave comes to Therapeutic Associates with a varied background that helps him treat a variety of musculoskeletal and neuromuscular disorders. Dave is a manual therapist that takes a neurological approach to orthopedic problems, helping to not only address the source of peoples’ pain, but also to fix underlying biomechanics and neuromotor patterns that can lead to tissue irritation and pain.

Dave comes from a background in endurance sports as well as team sports, having been a hockey player and then competing in Nordic Skiing at the collegiate and national level, before transitioning into high level coaching and Exercise Physiology testing. From there, he earned his Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Pacific University in 2011. Looking to meld both his love for Nordic Skiing and physical therapy, Dave began working with the US Nordic Combined team in early 2014.

Dave has traveled with the US team in Europe extensively to multiple world cup events, including World Championships in 2015 and 2017, as well as the Olympic Games in Peyong Chang, South Korea in 2018. When at home, he is an instructor of Nordic Skiing at Mt. Bachelor and likes to spend time outside, whether it is running, mountain biking, or enjoying all types of skiing.
