About

Francis Viloria is a Doctor of Physical Therapy with a strong academic and clinical foundation in movement science and rehabilitation. He earned his undergraduate degree from the University of Washington, where he studied Food Systems, Nutrition, and Health, developing an early appreciation for the role of lifestyle and movement in overall wellness. Throughout his doctoral training, Francis has gained diverse clinical experience in outpatient orthopedic, sports performance, and acute care hospital settings, working with a wide range of patient populations from high-level athletes to medically complex individuals. His education emphasizes evidence-based practice, clinical reasoning, and patient-centered care, preparing him to deliver effective and compassionate physical therapy across the continuum of care.

He has professional experience across outpatient orthopedic, sports performance, and inpatient acute care settings, allowing him to work with a broad spectrum of patients ranging from older adults and post-surgical individuals to high-level athletes. He has treated musculoskeletal, neurological, and cardiopulmonary conditions, with a particular interest in return-to-sport rehabilitation, injury prevention, and optimizing movement quality. Francis enjoys integrating exercise prescription, manual therapy, and patient education to help individuals regain function and confidence in movement. His clinical interests include sports rehabilitation, performance-based training, chronic pain management, and wellness-focused care, with an emphasis on evidence-based practice and long-term patient outcomes.

Outside of work, Francis enjoys maintaining an active lifestyle through regular running and strength training. He grew up playing tennis from the age of two and went on to compete for one year at the collegiate level at Bellevue College, an experience that continues to shape his appreciation for athletic performance and movement quality. While he no longer plays competitively, he remains an avid sports fan, particularly of tennis, and closely follows the Seattle Seahawks and the Boston Celtics. Francis values staying physically active and enjoys watching and discussing sports, performance, and training strategies in his free time.
