About

Gohar was born in Yerevan, Armenia but raised in Glendale, CA since the age of 11 months. She received her Bachelor’s of Science in Psychobiology at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) in 2011. Gohar then went on to receive her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from the University of Southern California (USC) in 2016. She completed her last clinical rotation, consisting of 16 weeks, at Providence Saint Joseph Medical Center under the mentorship of Beth Mills, the senior therapist in the Balance and Vestibular Clinic. It is there that she discovered her passion for providing valuable patient care to people with neurologic disabilities and helping improve their quality of life. After graduation, Gohar joined the Therapeutic Associates team and had the opportunity to work in the acute care and outpatient settings. She now focuses on increasing her experience in providing excellent care for patients in the Intensive Care Unit, participating in multi-disciplinary patient rounds, and using that knowledge to better serve patients in the Vestibular and Balance Clinic. Gohar has further supplemented her education by becoming a LSVT-BIG certified specialist to focus on patients with Parkinson’s Disease in the outpatient setting.

Outside of work, Gohar enjoys spending time with her husband and French bulldog, refining her Muay Thai skills, and collecting vinyl records.
