Clinic Director | Physical Therapist

About

Jennifer earned her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from the University of Puget Sound. Prior to that, she received her undergraduate degree in Kinesiology from Arizona State University where she was also a member of the Division I Women’s Water Polo team. Her time as a student-athlete gave her firsthand experience in what is required to train for and support a high-level of performance.

She was first exposed to physical therapy while at ASU and fell in love with the way the profession inspires a curiosity to discover the underlying cause of injury or dysfunction. Her favorite part of physical therapy is working with each patient to develop an individualized program, taking into consideration their goals and lifestyle.

Jennifer’s continuing education has focused on orthopedics, manual therapy, pain neuroscience education, and running analysis and intervention. Prior to opening Therapeutic Associates Physical Therapy – St. Johns in 2021, she spent several years working in a small, rural community which provided the opportunity to treat patients of all ages and with a wide variety of diagnoses. She also spent 2 years working in an on-call capacity which further increased her exposure to a myriad of specialties, contributing to the well-rounded provider she is today.

In her free time, Jennifer enjoys spending time with her husband, son, and two dogs. Depending on the season, you can often find them swimming, cycling, skiing, working on house projects, or attempting to cultivate a vegetable garden.
