Jerry is native to the pacific northwest and attended Oregon State University to earn his undergraduate degree in Bio Health-Sciences with a Pre-Physical Therapy option. He was accepted to a multitude of PT schools before attending the University of Michigan where he graduated with honors to earn his Doctor of Physical Therapy Degree in 2021.
Jerry was drawn to the field of physical therapy through his own experiences as a multi-sport athlete. He was able to witness the dramatic impact rehab can play in elevating athletes to meet their potential. He has relevant experience providing physical therapy services in a multitude of therapeutic settings including hospital, skilled nursing and outpatient practice.
Upon graduation, Jerry has aspired to be a life-long learner in utilizing new research to provide evidence-based practice. He prides himself in being an active listener, taking the time to develop a plan of care that is patient-centered with patient driven goals.
In his free time, Jerry remains active by going to gym, hiking, camping, participating in his local football tournament each year and working his drinking muscles sampling local breweries.
