Jessica has a Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Pacific University (Hillsboro, Oregon) and specializes in pelvic rehabilitation with a particular interest in pre- and post-natal recovery. Jessica is the author of “Post-Baby Blog” (published by Rehab Specialists Inc.), Pain Free Running at Any Age (published in The Columbian, Clark County, Washington), Progressive Resistance Training for Patients with High-Disability Multiple Sclerosis (peer-reviewed in 2015 in Portland, Oregon).
Jessica has trained under instructors at Herman and Wallace Pelvic Rehabilitation Institute, Ola Grimsby Institute, and North Orthopedic Institute. Prior to becoming a physical therapist Jessica taught Yoga and Pilates classes, which she utilizes as part of her physical therapy treatment today. Jessica is a firm believer in Health at Every Size (HAES) and a strong patient advocate. Jessica is pursuing her Pelvic Rehabilitation Practitioner Certification (PRPC) and International Board Certified Lactation Consultant Certification (IBCLC).
Jessica is a devoted mother of three and sub-4:00 marathon runner who loves to spend her time reading, petting one of her Holland Lop bunnies, or listening to live music with friends.
