Kat Hamilton

Physical Therapist Assistant

Pronouns: She, Her, Hers

Katherine received her Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science at Belmont University in Nashville, Tennessee while playing four years of Division I basketball. She went on to complete a Physical Therapist Assistant Associate’s Degree from Chattahoochee Technical College. In addition, Katherine has extensive training in pelvic floor physical therapy through the Herman & Wallace Institute.

As an athlete who has experienced many injuries herself with extensive physical therapy for recovery, and someone who has also struggled with pelvic floor dysfunction, she connects with both of these issues personally. Katherine has taken continuing education courses with a pelvic floor focus in prenatal and postpartum, bowel and urinary incontinence, pelvic organ prolapse, chronic pelvic pain, and diastasis. She has further training with instrument assisted soft tissue mobilization, pain science, evidence-based treatment of the knee, and comprehensive management of the lumbopelvic region.

Katherine grew up in the Pacific Northwest and loves to spend her time outdoors hiking, biking, long boarding, and playing tennis with her husband, John. Yoga is a passion in which she has attained a yoga teacher certification with additional training for chronic pelvic pain, pregnancy and postpartum. She also has organized several community events with an enthusiasm for bringing the community together. She is excited to be a part of the Bethany family at Therapeutic Associates.
