Kayla began working at Therapeutic Associates in 2019. She earned her associates degree in Physical Therapy Assisting at Mt. Hood Community College. Kayla grew up in Warren, Oregon; a small community between Scappoose and Saint Helens, Oregon.
Kayla has a love for the outdoors, going on camping trips almost every weekend and floating on a paddle board. She swam competitively on a club swim team from a young age, through high school. Before her physical therapy career, Kayla was a lifeguard and a swim lesson instructor at a local pool in Saint Helens, Oregon for six years where she worked with children of all ages.
Kayla sought an interest in Physical Therapy after her Grandfather experienced a massive stroke. She watched as her Grandfather went through all phases of recovery and observed her Grandfather work with physical therapists. Kayla believes rehabilitation is a journey and a meaningful path to recovery. For Kayla, being a part of someone’s journey to improve their life and overall health is most rewarding.
In her free time, Kayla likes to spend time with her husband; trying new foods and watching true crime. Kayla loves to exercise and play with her pets, cat: Korra and dog: Indi.
