Kaylee grew up in Waterford, Pennsylvania but fell in love with the outdoors while attending West Virginia University. While there, she received a Bachelor of Science in Exercise Physiology with an Emphasis in Aquatic Therapy. She left the mountains to attend graduate school in Pennsylvania where she earned her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from the University of Pittsburgh in 2018. While there, she received direct training through the UPMC Neurorehabilitation Program, Balance and Vestibular Program, and Concussion Program as well as pediatric experience through The Children’s Institute of Pittsburgh.
Kaylee’s clinical interests developed in graduate school and she hopes to continue to use her knowledge and experience in neuro, vestibular, concussion, pediatrics, and aquatic therapy as her career advances. She particularly enjoys treating individuals with BPPV (Benign Paroxysmal Positional Vertigo) and establishing creative and sports specific treatment plans for individuals who have experienced a concussion. She hopes to acquire her Neurologic Specialist Certification in the future, but enjoys the opportunities in clinic to use her orthopedic skills as well.
