Kelly grew up in northern California in the small-town of Rohnert Park California. She eventually moved to Forest Grove Oregon to pursue a bachelor’s degree in kinesiology, on the path to acquiring a DPT.
She participated in various sports throughout her adolescence and young adulthood, such as Soccer, Track and Field, and Cross Country. This background has given her a passion for body mechanics and how teaching someone proper body mechanics can help alleviate their pain. Her love and dedication to helping people recover through exercises and proper body mechanics are why she wants to pursue physical therapy as her profession.
Kelly’s primary goal for her future career in physical therapy is to help bridge the gap for underserved communities facing Spanish-to-English language barriers. While gaining valuable experience as an aide at South Hillsboro Therapeutic Associates, she applied to physical therapy schools. In the fall of 2025, she will begin her Doctor of Physical Therapy program.
Outside of the clinic, you can find Kelly going to the gym, running, playing Stardew, and most importantly spending time with her puppy, Bly. She also has the biggest obsession with Trader joes!
