About

Kit graduated with her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from University of Southern California in 2002. She received her Masters of Science from Western Washington University in Human Movement and Performance with a specialization in Biomechanics. She specializes in custom orthotics and biomechanical evaluation/treatment of orthopedic injuries related to running, walking and cycling. Kit is internationally renowned within the cycling industry, especially her work regarding the foot-pedal interface and the biomechanics of the lower extremities in cycling. Kit also writes cycling articles for OutThere Magazine and is a former elite level Cat 2 track cyclist.

Kit teaches continuing education for CyclePoint, LLC for physical therapists and medical professionals throughout the country and works as a consultant within the international cycling industry. She co-authored “When the Foot Meets the Pedal.” Kit is a frequent presenter at international bike fit symposiums including the Interbike Fit Symposium (2018), Medicine of Cycling (2017), International Cyclefit Symposium (London ICS 2012) and SICI International Cycling Science Symposium in 2007 and 2008. She also guest lectured within the University of Washington Physical Therapy Department for gait and orthopedics.

Kit spends her free time with her husband and three children. She loves cycling, climbing, downhill skiing, camping and generally getting dirty outside. Happy Pedals!
