Kristen received her Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology from San Diego State University. She went on to earn her Doctorate of Physical Therapy at Northern Arizona University, where she graduated with distinction. Kristen has a strong background in athletics and outdoor recreation, and her goal is to assist patients in returning to their own respective activities. Kristen is currently pursuing certifications in advanced manual therapy skills at the North American Institute of Orthopedic Manual Therapy (NAIMOT).
Kristen treats with a holistic and individualized approach, assisting patients to return to optimal function and prevent future injuries. She utilizes evidence-based practice to guide her treatment with manual therapy, pain neuroscience education, and exercise. She believes that her patients have an active role in their rehabilitation process, where she can provide her patients with the tools to be successful. Kristen values forming connections with her patients to better understand their situations and make therapy more enjoyable.
Outside of the clinic, Kristen enjoys being in the outdoors and participating in recreational activities such as hiking, camping, backpacking, running, skiing, and traveling.
