Laura received her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Pacific University. She came to the physical therapy profession from a background in massage therapy. Having held a license in massage therapy for nearly ten years, Laura values the impact of touch during the rehabilitative process. After childbirth and new motherhood, Laura developed a strong interest in pelvic floor physical therapy. She has done training through the Pelvic Health chapter of the American Physical Therapy Association as well as Herman and Wallace Pelvic Rehabilitation Institute.

Laura comes to each patient interaction with attentiveness and compassion. She values listening to her patients and finding a path towards restoration no matter how arduous their medical journey has been. Laura is a strong patient advocate and developed a passion for helping new mothers find optimal wellness during the delicate postpartum timeframe.

She has a background in dance and is an exercise enthusiast. She frequently incorporates Pilates and resistance training into her treatments.

Laura grew up in Texas, but has lived in the beautiful Pacific Northwest since 2005. When not at work, she spends as much time outside with her family as possible whether gardening, hiking or river-hopping. She is an avid outdoors adventurer and is promoting her young child to be the same.
