Leah is a transplant from Florida, earning her bachelors and Doctor of Physical Therapy degrees at the University of Central Florida. Growing up in the Sunshine state allowed her to pursue many sports and play year around. As a former collegiate softball player, Leah learned the dedication required to play sports at the elite level, but also suffered the repercussions from injuries as she pushed her body to the limits. Ultimately, this drove her to pursue a career in physical therapy, as it allowed her to empathize with individuals of all capacities, whether they are following their athletic dreams, recovering from surgery, or trying to maintain the healthiest lifestyle they can.
Though she is passionate about sports rehab, Leah has spent much of her career focused on orthopedic and post-operative rehab, including joint replacements, shoulder and knee injuries, and spine injuries, taking a total body approach to functional movement and finding ways to prevent future injuries.
In her free time, Leah has enjoyed exploring Oregon and Washington, and getting to know the outdoors. She is an avid golfer and is interested in doing more hiking.
