Makana Wong

Makana was born and raised in Honolulu, Hawaii and moved to further his education in Oregon where he received both his undergrad degree in Kinesiology and his DPT from Pacific University. He also had humble beginnings in our company when he worked as an aide at TAI’s Scholls location.

Makana was a nationally ranked artistic gymnast and a high school conference champion in Judo, and is currently an avid weightlifter. His long history of sport also came with a breadth of injuries, thus leading him down a path to become a physical therapist and gift to others the magic of physical therapy that he was once given. Although he has an athletic background, he has experience and enjoys working with patients of vast ages and presentations.

When he isn’t in the weight room or improving his clinical skills, Makana enjoys playing video games to decompress and is planning to continue pursuing his black belt in judo as well as adding other combat sports to his repertoire.
