Matthew (Matt) was born and raised in Seattle, Washington. Growing up he participated in many sports and outdoor pursuits, and thanks to many injuries came into contact with Physical Therapy. Attending undergraduate at the University of Portland, he studied Biology and Chemistry, but quickly realized working with people was far preferable to being in a lab all day. Deciding to shift focus, Matt worked several years as a kayak and SUP instructor before attending Touro University Nevada. There he achieved his Doctorate in Physical Therapy in the summer of 2020. He enjoys working with post-op and work injury patients, building up strength together to return to pain free work/sport performance.
Outside of work, Matt continues to enjoy the sports that brought him into the profession, participating in local Lacrosse, swimming and cross-country running competitions. Matt enjoys weight lifting, paddling the waters of Oregon and Washington, fishing, and hiking. Outside of outdoor pursuits, hobbies include Sci-Fi reading and building PCs.
